Framing Repair in Grand Island, Nebraska
The basement and crawlspace at this Grand Island property showed the effects of seasonal moisture infiltration and movement typical of the region's expansive clay soils. The exposed structural elements, deteriorating insulation, and bare soil floor created conditions where the foundation lacked adequate support and moisture control, leaving the structure vulnerable to continued settling and damage.
Epp Foundation Repair installed a complete support and moisture management system, beginning with interior drainage to direct water away from the foundation, followed by void fill to restore support under settled areas, and crawlspace encapsulation with a vapor barrier to eliminate soil moisture. The finished crawlspace now features a sealed, controlled environment with proper drainage infrastructure and structural reinforcement. The scope of work was fully documented with 14 on-site photographs throughout the project phases.
Completed and documented on site by Epp Foundation Repair’s field crew. Serving Nebraska homeowners since 1994.
