Foundation Repair in Elkhorn, Nebraska
The Elkhorn home had sustained cracking in its brick foundation walls, with diagonal and vertical fracture patterns visible across the basement surfaces. The expansive clay soils common to this region shift seasonally with moisture changes, and without adequate support depth, they impose stress that causes settlement and structural movement. The basement's stored items and exposed foundation condition indicated the need for stabilization and moisture management.
Epp Foundation Repair installed carbon fiber straps to reinforce the cracked foundation walls and added an interior drainage system to manage groundwater and reduce hydrostatic pressure against the foundation. The work included poly vapor barriers and drainage piping positioned to direct water toward a sump system, protecting the basement from further moisture intrusion. Two crew members completed the job across 2 site visits, with all work documented in 28 on-site photographs.
Completed and documented on site by Epp Foundation Repair’s field crew. Serving Nebraska homeowners since 1994.
